Privacy

What CleaningHQ collects, what it deliberately does not collect, and how to change your mind.

The short version

There are no accounts, no sign-in, no comments, no newsletter and no advertising. CleaningHQ is a set of static pages. The only optional measurement is a consent-gated, anonymous count of how the catalogue is used, and it is not currently switched on at all.

What is never collected

These are architectural rather than promises. The analytics event definitions are a fixed, typed catalogue, and a payload that does not match its schema is dropped before it is sent.

What may be collected, with your agreement

Anonymous, aggregate signals about which parts of the catalogue are useful and where it falls short — which sections are read, whether the advisor could answer, how often a search returns nothing. These carry catalogue identifiers such as polished-marble rather than anything about you.

The most valuable of them is the record that CleaningHQ could not answer something. That is how gaps get prioritised, and it is why the measurement exists at all.

Consent, and the absence of a decision

Nothing is sent before you decide. An undecided reader is treated exactly as one who has declined — the absence of a decision is not permission, which is the same principle the safety model runs on.

Your choice is stored in your browser’s local storage under a single key, not in a cookie and not on any server. Clearing your browser data clears it. You can change your mind at any time from the banner, or by clearing site data. More on storage.

Ordinary server logs

Whoever eventually hosts CleaningHQ will keep the usual request logs that any web server keeps. That is outside this product’s control and is covered by the operating entity’s own arrangements rather than described speculatively here.
