What CleaningHQ collects, what it deliberately does not collect, and how to change your mind.

What is never collected

These are architectural rather than promises. The analytics event definitions are a fixed, fixed list, and anything that does not match it is discarded before it is sent.

• Nothing you type.The advisor uses dropdowns rather than a text box precisely so there is nothing about your home for it to send. The search box does have a text field, and the search event records only a result count and a band — there is no field for the query, and none may be added.
• No names, emails, addresses or accounts. None are asked for.
• No advertising or cross-site tracking identifiers. Where measurement is switched on, Google Analytics is the one third-party script this site loads, and it loads only after you have agreed. It is configured with advertising signals refused and with no client storage at all, so it sets no cookie and cannot recognise you on a later visit. The content security policy blocks outbound connections to anything not explicitly configured.

What may be collected, with your agreement

Anonymous, aggregate signals: which sections are read, whether the advisor returned an answer, and how often a search returns nothing. These carry page identifiers such as polished-marble rather than anything about you.

Consent, and the absence of a decision

Nothing is sent before you decide. An undecided reader is treated exactly as one who has declined — the absence of a decision is not permission.

Your choice is stored in your browser’s local storage under a single key, not in a cookie and not on any server. Clearing your browser data clears it. You can change your mind at any time — the banner asks once, and the same choice stays available on the cookies page, where you can withdraw it as readily as you gave it.

Ordinary server logs

Whoever eventually hosts CleaningHQ will keep the usual request logs that any web server keeps. That is outside this product’s control and is covered by the operating entity’s own arrangements rather than described speculatively here.

CleaningHQ is publicly available. Where this page describes measurement, it describes software that is built and currently active. Formal statements of lawful basis, retention and processors are held centrally by the operating entity.
